2006 08 01 back to Elazig.

little deja vou, Marius back to Elazig, Turkey. This place has given me one of the strongest and miost spectacular experiences in 2005, so it is my great pleasure to be back here and visiting my old friends.

though the real mission is advanced planning visit of youth exchange... tomorrow we gonna work on the programe, pay a visit to governor of Elazig and have a trip to Harput, an ancient city which can boast with a nice castle made of milk (water demand was always greater than supply in this place) and a burial place of Arap BABA.

birthday on the bus. hell know where :)

my 28 birthday "beggined" during my stay in Chisinau, Moldova and continues all the way from this green city via Transnistria to Kiev, lovely capital of Ukraine.

in the picture you can see me thinking of the wish, the birthday cake and a candle - according to ou traditions, if you managed to blow all the candles (in this case all one:) your dream will come true. i managed. now it turn of my dream to come true. i will tell a secret that it is already half true ;)

Moldova - you cannot imagine more beautiful view thamn a see if blossoming sunflawers. it is absolutely amazing, especialy if you see it in the sundawn. it is WOWOWOWOWOW...

more experience - strange "country" Transnistria - former part of Moldavia, Romanian/Moldovan country, now accupied by Russian militia and held as "sovereign" republic. well, at least we had to pay for crossing the boarder, there their power ends. i dont like that our big eastern brother still tends to intervene in the life of its neighbouring countries, like they akready sorted out things inside..

TC is Over.

Uffff... after almost 2 weeks of preparation and implementation, YEU training course on Organizational management is over. one more day - and i wouldn't be able to speak/think/smile..

tomorrow i will be heading towards ocean for some relaxation and waves.. Portuguese costline is very spectacular and i hope i will post some pix from the Ericeira and Mafra.

this summer has been busy as never before, since i had to travel back and forth with different kind of trainings. this is obvious by absesnce of news on the blog:)

tonight i am leaving for Lisbon, hope to update from there..

highlights of Swiss country

yet again sitting at the airport, cheking last emails and gettong ready for another take-off..
this time i am going to switzerland, to see some more mountains and prepare youth training on european citizenship, issue very close to my heart somehow.

another cool thing, in couple days football wolrdchamp will kich-off. despite i am not big fan of watching sports (i am much more into doing sports), major football events are great performances and brings all nations of the world closer..

[22:02] Restaurant Amarillo, Mexican cousin. We are resting after long and intense day of work in the basement of Allianssi, Finnish national youth council. Around the corner 80 000 people are cheering Finnish national heroes Lordi, who brought first ever victory in Eurovision. Happy for this country, since Lithuanians know what means to fail in this contest on the annual basis:) But on the other side, these guys are rather ugly. But… seems it is quite a fashion to be ugly in Finland.

[02:35] we have played card game called “bilot”. Was fun. Now is the time to shut down laptop and go to bed.

Life, word is just the skech, and our approach is the colours with which we colour it.
so my small suggestion is to use as much as possible bright and warm colours instead of complaining... be the master/author of our life, not just an observer.

.. just came back from the heart of Europe (ok, atleast heart of EU), Brussels,
from the youth conferrence "youth for the life without tobacco". it was very nic, intense and enriching experience, and it proved that (1) 16 trainers CAN work together, (2) young people have opinion, (3) that group of 200 young europeans from 25 member states CAN work together, (4) europe is one big family which can and wants to be together, shall it be given a chance.

well, maybe i took J.J.Rousseau's call "back to nature" to directly... who knows... but after such a long, white and frustrating winter, it is a great pleasure to be in the nature, with the nature, to be nature.

had this strange feeling that have to sort out things inside of me.
ok, almost did.
but then comes another challenge - transmit desicion/solution to others.
but what if they dont to accept it?
should i reconsider decision?
should i do the way i dont want to?
what if one person badly needs another and it is not mutual - what to do then? what is more important - morals, ethis, or willingness to be happy?
